SAP NEWSBYTE — Mar. 15, 2017, African Press Association (APA) — SAP Africa has announced the appointment of industry veteran Frédéric Alran as its new Managing Director: Francophone Africa. Alran, who was born in France, joined SAP in 2004 and was appointed as SAP Manager of Francophone Switzerland in 2013. He brings 20 years of experience in software sales, teambuilding and customer relations expertise to the SAP Francophone Africa team.
Alran will be responsible for driving SAP’s business and accelerating digital transformation in the company’s customer base in West and Central Africa and the Maghreb region.
Speaking on the new appointment, SAP Africa Managing Director Brett Parker said Alran has been an integral part of the company’s success in French speaking regions.
“Frédéric brings invaluable experience and insight to our African leadership team. His keen understanding of the role technology can play in transforming businesses, coupled with an unbeatable work ethic makes him a key asset as we continue to drive our digital transformation agenda across the continent.”
